The Dutch Tourism Expo is widely considered to be one of the world's most prestigious events for the international travel and tourism industry, with around 800 groups taking part.
In 2010, there were around 33,426 people who travelled from the Netherlands to Malta, and between January and November 2011, there were 37,746 people - a great increase in the number of visitors who travelling from the Netherlands to Malta.
The Embassy of Malta in The Hague regularly replies to requests for information on Malta, specialising in providing promotional tourist material to international individuals, companies and associations planning to visit Malta for business and leisure purposes.
