Located in Qawra, The George Pub is an unashamedly traditional pub which prides itself on its great food and drink, reasonable prices and entertainment for all.
The pub has weekly quizzes, regular live music and entertainment, as well as sports footage on the big screens.
The George is open from 10.00 am everyday to serve its renowned English breakfast. Food is then served throughout the day and includes some good offers such as two main meals for €9.00 and Wednesday's curry day when a curry with naan bread and rice will cost just €3.50.
One of the most popular meals on the menu is the Sunday roast which offers a choice of three roast meats with fresh, local vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and lashings of thick gravy.
The George's well-stocked bar serves a variety of wines and blended spirits while the beer ranges from lager such as Stella Artois, Fosters and 1565 Victory to draught ales and ciders like John Smiths, Guinness and Strongbow. Bottled beer is also available and includes an exclusive Belgium range.
