This small, family-run guesthouse is located on the popular Sliema seafront, overlooking St Julian's Bay. It offers a choice of rooms with sea views and others overlooking the small garden to the rear. Back rooms feature a private bathroom or shower and WC; some sea view rooms have en suite showers or bathrooms but most have shared use of bathrooms and WC facilities on the same floor.
Most rooms are spacious and can accommodate up to four guests. They are set out over two floors with grand sweeping stairways leading to the upper floor. The décor is Victorian with high ceilings that keep the rooms cool during the summer months.
The nearby beach is a stone's throw from the hotel, just across the road. Mostly rocky, it does however have a small sandy patch at one end. Right outside the guesthouse are a pretty seafront promenade and gardens, which provide a beautiful setting for short strolls to take in some fresh sea air.
The Adelaide House is located on a main bus route, with shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs either within walking distance or a five-minute bus ride away.
